Hi, I’m Tonesha Smith—artist, photographer, blogger, and proud CEO of Tonesha Smith Photography and Optical Treasures Fine Art. I’m so glad you stopped by to learn a little more about me and my work!
My photography career started over 20 years ago in New York City, where I photographed weddings, events, and portraits. Fast forward to today—I’m an international photographer based in Atlanta. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients share their photos sessions online, knowing those memories will be treasured for years to come.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me traveling with friends, soaking up different cultures, and capturing the beauty I see along the way. Many of those images live on my fine art site, Optical Treasures—a collection of street photography, travel gems, and creative digital art. Some are even available as prints or stock images in the online shop.

Photography taught me more than just how to capture beautiful images—it helped me grow as a leader and a person. After countless heart-to-hearts with clients about self-love and awareness, I felt called to do more. That journey led me to become a Certified Life Coach through an ICF-accredited school.

With 22+ years in Corporate America, I learned the power of communication and “managing up.” To take it further, I joined Toastmasters International—where I discovered a love for public speaking and leadership. Today, I hold their top honor: Distinguished Toastmaster.
