I had the honor of making this Graduate’s end of high school pictures. I first photographed this young man during a Fall Family shoot a few years ago. Sometimes, people remember how you made them feel during a shoot over the outcome. His family and I attend the same church. What a blessing it is for me to see the young ones grow into young adults and from young adults to making their way into the world on their own.
We didn’t necessarily have a written plan for the shoot. Of course Mom, wanted some shots for announcement and bragging rights of her son’s accomplishments. I also wanted him to be himself. Years down the line, I don’t want him to cringe at who the HS version was. I didn’t force him to be cheesy or too posed. I was satisfied with outcome.
